1. Agreement
These Terms & Conditions govern your use of the Forgotten Solitaire iOS application ("the app"), created by David Ramer / Gringo Golf ("we", "us"). By downloading or using the app you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the app.
2. License
Your purchase grants you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to install and use the app on Apple devices you own or control, as permitted by the App Store Terms of Service. The app is licensed to you, not sold.
You may not copy, modify, distribute, sell, lease, reverse-engineer, or create derivative works of the app or its contents, except where such restriction is prohibited by law.
3. Purchase
Forgotten Solitaire is a one-time purchase made through Apple's App Store. Payments, refunds, and billing questions are handled by Apple under the App Store terms. The app contains no advertising and no in-app purchases.
4. Intellectual Property
The app — including its code, artwork, card designs, music, the coach's repertoire, and all other content — is owned by us and protected by copyright and other intellectual property laws. The underlying solitaire games (Congress, Grandfather's Clock, Sir Tommy, Virginia Reel, Royal Cotillion, and Bisley) are historical games in the public domain; our implementations and presentations of them are our own.
5. The Coach and Hints
The in-app coach offers hints, commentary, and demonstrations for entertainment and instruction. He is knowledgeable but not infallible; following his advice does not guarantee a won game — some deals simply cannot be won, which is the nature of patience.
6. Disclaimer of Warranty
The app is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including but not limited to merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the app will be uninterrupted or error-free.
7. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, we shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the app. Our total liability for any claim shall not exceed the amount you paid for the app.
8. Changes to the App and These Terms
We may update the app and these terms from time to time — for example, when new games join the collection. Updated terms will be posted at this address with a new effective date, and your continued use of the app constitutes acceptance.
9. Governing Law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Florida, USA, without regard to conflict-of-law principles.
