StepHive
Effective date: June 28, 2026
These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your use of StepHive (“the app”), created by David Ramer (“we,” “us”). By downloading or using StepHive, you agree to these Terms. If you don’t agree, please don’t use the app.
StepHive is a walking and fitness companion that tracks your steps and calories (via Apple Health), records GPS walking routes, lets you play your own music, and lets you connect with friends to share progress and encouragement.
StepHive is a paid app available as a one-time purchase through the Apple App Store. All payments, billing, and refunds are handled by Apple under the App Store’s terms; we do not process or store payment information.
We grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use StepHive on Apple devices you own or control, for your personal, non-commercial use, subject to these Terms and the App Store terms.
You are responsible for activity under your account and for the content you provide — including your display name, profile photo, goals, and the messages you send. You agree not to upload or share content that is unlawful, harassing, hateful, infringing, or offensive, and to treat other users with respect.
Your use of StepHive is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which explains how we handle your information, including Apple Health and location data.
StepHive relies on third-party services including Apple (App Store, Sign in with Apple, HealthKit) and Google Firebase (database, authentication, notifications). Your use of those features may also be subject to those providers’ terms.
You may stop using the app and delete your account at any time from Settings → Account → Delete Account. We may suspend or terminate access if you violate these Terms or misuse the app.
The app is provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy, or uninterrupted availability, to the maximum extent permitted by law.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, we will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss arising from your use of (or inability to use) the app, including any reliance on its health or route data.
We may update these Terms from time to time. When we do, we will revise the “Effective date” above. Continued use of the app after changes means you accept the updated Terms.
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of [Your State], United States, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules. (Update this with your state/country.)
